José Gaya Ragni

He emigrated to "The Americas" , settling in the city of Gutiérrez Zamora in the state of Veracruz, Mexico; specializing in the curing of vanilla.

The Gaya family is optimizing its production processes . The construction of the first specialized oven represents a significant milestone in the technological evolution of its operations, allowing for improvements in the quality and consistency of vanilla processing.

Sr. Orlando Gaya Montini

1944

First industrial plant

Orlando Gaya Montini began the production and marketing of natural vanilla extract through a small industrial plant and secret recipes for vanilla extract, "Xanath" vanilla liqueur and "Camino Real" coffee liqueur, which have become some of the most important in the world to date.

Innovations in production processes

Italo Gaya Capellini continues the family tradition, introducing innovations such as the intensive production of vanilla cuttings in shade netting and the modernization of the processing methods. Under his leadership, the first kosher certification was achieved, improving marketing.

Present

Norma Edda Gaya Goldaracena has played a key role in diversifying the company's product line , expanding the catalog to include vanilla and spice-derived products, among others , which led to the opening of a marketing company in the United States under her leadership.

He has helped the company obtain important certifications that have allowed it to expand exports to new international markets .

In addition, he developed and led a team of young professionals to establish the first Vanilla training center specializing in Vanilla in the Totonacapan region, where national and international courses on both planting and processing of vanilla have been taught.

Together with their team, they have managed to obtain the Wildlife Conservation Management Unit (UMA) for Vanilla , which strengthened the sustainable production and preservation capacities of this crop.

In 2022, the first Vanilla Festival was held in Gtz. Zamora, Veracruz, bringing together businesspeople, producers, educational institutions, researchers, and government agents, resulting in the Vanilla Festival being held every two years in Mexico, as in the United States.
